<p>When it comes to branding and design, logos are the embodiment of your company identity. They act as symbols and are your visual ambassadors that convey information quickly and efficiently about your brand. But which ingredients make a logo truly stand out? Let&#8217;s discover the formula for effective logo creation: appropriateness, simplicity, timelessness, memorability, and versatility!</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery aligncenter has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" fetchpriority="high" width="700" height="436" data-id="8595" src="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/best-logo-should-consider.png" alt="5 Princpal for designing logo" class="wp-image-8595" srcset="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/best-logo-should-consider.png 700w, https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/best-logo-should-consider-300x187.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></figure>
</figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">1. Appropriateness</h2>

<p><strong>Fit for the Task:</strong>&nbsp;Imagine an amateur clown performing circus tricks during a corporate board meeting. That&#8217;s what an inappropriate logo feels like. Your logo needs to perfectly reflect your industry, values, audience, and message &#8211; consider colors, fonts, and images that match it for maximum impact.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">2. Simplicity</h2>

<p><strong>Keep It Simple:&nbsp;</strong>In logo design, sometimes less is more. A bold and memorable logo often sticks in people&#8217;s minds more easily than complex ones that become lost when resized or used on different surfaces. For example, Nike&#8217;s Swoosh logo stands out and delivers impact with minimal design elements!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">3. Timelessness</h2>

<p><strong>Design for Eternity:</strong>&nbsp;Trends may come and go, but your logo should stand the test of time. Avoid fads quickly losing relevance &#8211; classic logos like Coca-Cola&#8217;s timeless typeface are surefire winners.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">4. Remembered:&nbsp;</h2>

<p><strong>Imprint Your Audience:</strong>&nbsp;For maximum impact, your logo should leave an indelible imprint in the minds of its target audience &#8211; think of HP as an example &#8211; the H and P stands for Hewlett and Packard.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">5. Versatility</h2>

<p>All Shapes and Sizes: Logos should be adaptable &#8211; looking great no matter where they appear &#8211; whether on billboards, small business cards, or anywhere in between. Adaptability should also include working well with color and black-and-white imagery.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h2>

<p>Design is an art, and creating an effective logo requires skilled craftsmanship. Finding a balance between appropriateness, simplicity, timelessness, memorability, and versatility makes something timeless in customers&#8217; eyes. As you embark on your logo journey, remember these principles to create something timeless! Happy <a href="https://www.aakarsoft.com/logo-designer-mumbai/" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.aakarsoft.com/logo-designer-mumbai/">logo designing</a>!</p>

</figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="introduction-what-is-a-payment-gateway"><strong>Introduction / What is a payment gateway?</strong></h2>

<p>A payment gateway allows sellers/merchants to accept customer payments on their websites. Payment gateways are intermediary programs providing a secure interface between a seller/merchant and the processing bank (acquiring bank/acquirer). ECommerce websites and some subscription or service provider websites use them.</p>

<p>Generally, modern payment gateways come with multiple payment methods, such as Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and UPI, and may even support wallets. In this blog, we’ll look at how payment gateways work, their types, and the things to remember while choosing a payment gateway for yourself.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="what-is-the-role-of-a-payment-gateway">What is the Role of a Payment Gateway?</h2>

<p>The primary role of a payment gateway is to be a secure bridge between merchants &amp; banks. It also validates the transaction of the customer. A payment gateway helps the&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.aakarsoft.com/e-commerce-website/" rel="noreferrer noopener">eCommerce website</a>&nbsp;improve its customer journey by facilitating a secure &amp; easy payment mode. It increases the eCommerce portal&#8217;s value, resulting in a satisfied customer base and greater revenue for the merchant.</p>

<p>Payment gateways also help banks collect payments directly from customers in real-time without manual intervention. Payment gateway services can be provided by authorized third-party providers or directly by some banks.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="what-is-the-role-of-a-payment-gateway">Why do we need it?</h2>

<p>With the advent of digitalisation, we slowly switched from cash &amp; cheques to credit &amp; debit cards. It led to merchants providing POS terminals where customers could easily make payments using their credit/debit cards. As time went on and eCommerce started gaining popularity, there was a need for a payment system similar to POS terminals or credit/debit card readers. Payment Gateways were created to fulfill this need. They allow smooth transactions between customers &amp; merchants without having any physical component, creating a perfect solution for online transactions.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="what-is-the-role-of-a-payment-gateway">How it works (in simple steps)</h2>

<p><strong>Step 1</strong></p>

<p>The customer purchases from the merchant website selects their payment method, and enters their payment details like card number, CVV, UPI VPA, etc.</p>

<p><strong>Step 2</strong></p>

<p>The order and payment details are sent securely to the payment gateway. This information is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with anyone.</p>

<p><strong>Step 3</strong></p>

<p>Next, the payment gateway verifies the customer’s payment details and checks if they have sufficient balance in their account to make the payment. If everything is good, it approves &amp; proceeds with the transaction. The payment gateway also uses anti-fraud tools to prevent fraudulent activities.</p>

<p><strong>Step 4</strong></p>

<p>The payment gateway requests the customer&#8217;s bank to initiate the transaction. The issuing bank then validates the request &amp; sends the requested amount to the merchant&#8217;s bank for deposit into the merchant&#8217;s account.</p>

<p><strong>Step 5</strong></p>

<p>The status of the transaction is sent to the merchant in the form of a response or notification. The time it takes to receive the payment depends largely on the payment gateway that you are using. Most payments are received instantly, but some may take longer, depending on various factors.</p>

<p><strong>Step 6</strong></p>

<p>The merchant updates the transaction status (successful or failed) and notifies the customer accordingly.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="what-is-the-role-of-a-payment-gateway">Types of Payment Gateways</h2>

<p><strong>External</strong></p>

<p>External payment gateways require customers to be redirected to the gateway provider’s platform. The customer then has to input their payment details, which are processed. These payment gateways have an advantage because their processing is usually quick &amp; error-free. The merchant does not have to worry too much about PCI/DSS compliance, as they are not hosting the payment gateway. The downside is that customers may not make payments if they are redirected to another URL owing to trust &amp; safety concerns.</p>

<p><strong>Self-hosted</strong></p>

<p>As the name suggests, self-hosted payment gateways are hosted on the merchant’s website, and the customer journey is completely done on the merchant’s website. The advantage of having this is that a customer doesn’t have to be redirected anywhere, and the merchant has total control over the payment process, including the customer experience. The disadvantage of this type of payment gateway is that the merchant must be PCI/DSS compliant and ensure the process is secure, error-free, and user-friendly.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="what-is-the-role-of-a-payment-gateway">How to choose the right Payment Gateway?</h2>

<p><strong>Availability</strong></p>

<p>The first thing is the availability of the payment gateway in your country/area and whether they support your local currency.</p>

<p><strong>Trust</strong></p>

<p>A payment gateway must be trustworthy, as it will be responsible for all the financial transactions between the website and the bank. Trust also plays an important role for customers to make their payments. Going with a well-known provider is recommended as it comes with its brand factor, which gives trust.</p>

<p><strong>Payment Methods</strong></p>

<p>Many payment gateways today offer various payment methods, such as Credit/Debit Cards, NetBanking (NEFT/RTGS), UPI, multiple wallets, etc., instead of just a single method. It is always a good idea to have multiple payment methods so customers can pay however they prefer.</p>

<p><strong>Customer Experience &amp; Speed</strong></p>

<p>A good payment gateway would provide a good payment experience for the customer. When choosing one for your business, checking the user interface&#8217;s quality is important. Processing speeds are another factor to consider before opting for a payment gateway.</p>

<p><strong>Transaction Fees and Service Costs</strong></p>

<p>Payment gateways charge a small amount as some percentage of the transaction value. Depending on the provider, this may range between 0.1% to 3%. Sometimes, there may also be additional service costs, which you should confirm with the provider before opting for their service.</p>

<p><strong>Security Standards &amp; Compliance</strong></p>

<p>Major providers already have the highest security features and follow the best practices. Lesser known or new providers may need to follow the best security practices or be 3D Secure or PCI/DSS compliant. Checking these things is necessary as the provider would be responsible for handling crucial &amp; sensitive data about you &amp; your customers.</p>

<p><strong>Customer Support</strong></p>

<p>Another point to consider is Customer Support. It is really important to have good customer support from the payment gateway provider to resolve your issues promptly, as it may cost you your customers.</p>

<p>Magento and WooCommerce are the most popular platforms for building E-Commerce Websites. In this post, we will compare the features and functionalities offered by both platforms. By the end of this post, you will be in a great position to choose the right platform for your E-Commerce website.</p>

</figure>

<p><strong>Introduction</strong></p>

<p>Both Magento and WooCommerce are Open-Source platforms.</p>

<p>Magento was founded in 2007, targeting mid-size and large businesses with incredible support for customization and third-party integration. Magento has two variants – Magento Open Source and Magento Commerce. Magento Open Source is freely available, but Magento Commerce starts at $22,000/annually. In this article, we will consider Magento Open Source.</p>

<p>WooCommerce was founded in the year 2011, targeting beginners and mid-scale businesses. WooCommerce is a plugin available with WordPress. Therefore, you need to set up WordPress before using WooCommerce.</p>

<p><strong>Features</strong></p>

<p>Magento and WooCommerce have many built-in features like Product and category Management, Inventory Management, Shopping cart, Discount and Coupons, Shipping, Order, and Customer Management.</p>

<p>Magento, being a dedicated E-Commerce Website development platform, offers a larger number of built-in features compared to WooCommerce. Magento supports multiple stores, which you can manage from a single admin account. Magento also provides multi-currency and numerous language features. Magento provides a feature called Instant purchase, which helps existing customers to checkout fast.</p>

<p>Magento has a separate section for marketing that helps you set up a marketing campaign. For marketing with WooCommerce, you need plugins to manage your campaigns effectively, but you do get an in-built blogging facility as it is built on WordPress.</p>

<p>Regarding additional features, WooCommerce heavily depends on plugins and custom coding. You must spend time and money finding a suitable plugin for other parts and functionalities.</p>

<p><strong>Plugins &amp; Extensions</strong></p>

<p>With the help of plugins and extensions/plugins, you can add a lot of customization to your E-commerce website with a quick turnaround.</p>

<p>Magento and WordPress both offer a good number of free and paid add-ons. WordPress offers approx. Fifty-nine thousand plugins, and Magento offers approx. 6,000 extensions respectively.</p>

<p><strong>Setup</strong></p>

<p>Magento is tailored for web development professionals, and setting up a Magento website coding knowledge is essential. Magento setup is difficult, and its documentation is written for developers and programmers.</p>

<p>WooCommerce &amp; WordPress have set up wizards to walk you through the initial setup. Compared to Magento, WooCommerce setup is easy, but any customization in the website requires a fair bit of coding knowledge.</p>

<p><strong>Security</strong></p>

<p>Magento&#8217;s security center section provides quick updates and alerts on safety and security. The security center offers many test cases on the best practices to ensure the platform&#8217;s security.</p>

<p>On the other hand, WooCommerce is secure because of the constant updates on the WordPress platform. Today, without a doubt, WordPress is a very secure platform. Most security breaches happen because of third-party plugins, hosting providers, and weak passwords.</p>

<p><strong>Support</strong></p>

<p>Both are open-source and have huge community support from developers and programmers. WooCommerce has no direct user support, but you can raise a support ticket. For Magento, you get community support for the Open Source version and can get instant help with Magento if you choose Magento Commerce/Enterprise.</p>

<p><strong>Pricing</strong></p>

<p>Both open-source platforms are free. To build an eCommerce website, you may require paid themes and plugins. A WooCommerce paid theme would cost you $50-$100, whereas Magento paid theme would cost you $100-$200. A WordPress plugin would cost $12-$100, and an extension in Magento would cost you $50-$500, depending on the plugin&#8217;s functionality.</p>

<p>WooCommerce pricing is more reasonable as plugins and themes are cheaper than Magento. However, WooCommerce has fewer built-in features.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Comparison Between Magento vs WooCommerce</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table><tbody><tr><td><br></td><td><strong>MAGENTO</strong></td><td><strong>WOOCOMMERCE</strong></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Platform</strong></td><td>Open-Source</td><td>Open-Source</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Hosting</strong></td><td>Buy</td><td>Buy</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Coding Knowledge</strong></td><td>Required</td><td>May or may not be required</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Website Administration</strong></td><td>Difficult</td><td>Moderate</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Free Apps &amp; Plugin</strong><strong>s</strong></td><td>Available, but limited</td><td>Available</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Free Theme</strong><strong>s</strong></td><td>Available, but limited</td><td>Available</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Mobile</strong></td><td>Yes</td><td>Yes</td></tr><tr><td><strong>SEO Support</strong></td><td>Complete</td><td>Complete</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Version Update</strong></td><td>Difficult</td><td>Moderate</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Duration to Build</strong></td><td>4-12 Weeks</td><td>2-6 Weeks</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="conclusion">Conclusion</h2>

<p>Both platforms are designed to target different customers; therefore, it is difficult to say which is better. It depends upon you what you are looking for. WooCommerce directs itself towards user-friendliness while maintaining low cost. On the contrary, Magento constantly aims for extended features and functionality.</p>

<p>Thus, if you are&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.aakarsoft.com/e-commerce-website/" rel="noreferrer noopener">getting started in the E-Commerce business</a>&nbsp;and have budget constraints, we recommend you start with WooCommerce. You can always consider moving to Magento when you have more experience in the E-commerce industry with higher budgets.</p>

</figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How CRMs work</h2>

<p>A CRM system stores customer information in a structured &amp; organized manner. With modern CRMs, you get a lot of functionalities such as business analytics, reporting, automated messaging, reminders, appointments, etc. With an interactive user experience, CRMs make office processes smoother and easier.</p>

<p>A good CRM makes life easier for a business, especially its employees. Hence, a CRM must match your business needs and work according to your office processes.</p>

<p>CRM systems are of two types: Readymade and Customized. Further in this post, we’ll discuss how both work and compare the basic differences between a readymade CRM and a custom-built one.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"></h2>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Readymade CRM</h2>

<p>Readymade CRMs are pre-designed and developed CRM software, mostly available as a pay-as-you-go or subscription model. These CRMs include all the basic tools &amp; functions a business may need. Ready-to-use CRMs are great for small and mid-size firms with general work processes that do not require unique functionality. CRM providers often have flexible tariff plans. Some providers may offer a free version of CRM software to micro-businesses with low turnovers/users.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Customized CRM</h2>

<p>Customized CRM is an excellent solution for businesses that have unique business processes. Just like any custom software, these CRMs are designed and developed by third-party developers. Compared to Readymade software, Customized CRMs require good capital investment.</p>

<p>Custom CRM offers an edge over readymade or pre-built CRMs, as you will have total control over the functionalities and features. It can modify or scale them per your needs. A customized CRM is great for large firms or those whose business processes differ from typical ones.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"></h2>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Side-by-side Comparison of Readymade CRM vs Customized CRM System</h2>

<p>Below, you can find all the differences between both types of CRMs to understand better how they differ.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table><thead><tr><th></th><th>Readymade CRM</th><th>Customized CRM</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Try before you use</td><td>Option to try the software system for free almost instantly to get an idea of how everything would work</td><td>No option to try anything for a very long time, until a large chunk of the system has been developed</td></tr><tr><td>Setup/Development Time</td><td>Quick setup time, ranging from a couple of minutes to a couple of days</td><td>Long development time, which may last from a couple of months to several months</td></tr><tr><td>Built for</td><td>Usually built commonly for a variety of businesses &amp; industries</td><td>Specifically built as required by dictating the developers what suits your needs</td></tr><tr><td>Basic/Popular functionality</td><td>Basic &amp; most popular functionalities come built-in</td><td>Even basic functionalities have to be created from scratch</td></tr><tr><td>Additional functionality</td><td>May provide tons of additional features which are not used. Required functionalities may have to be purchased as addons, requiring additional costs</td><td>All functionalities &amp; processes are made as per requirements and hence can be used to maximise work efficiency. Doesn’t require major costs for adding functionalities</td></tr><tr><td>Quality Testing</td><td>Well-tested &amp; bug-free, and hence trusted by lots of people</td><td>Testing has to be done after the completion of development. Has a high probability of having bugs &amp; issues during the initial phases</td></tr><tr><td>Support</td><td>Qualified &amp; trained support team to resolve issues</td><td>Need to rely on the development team for support, which may not be streamlined</td></tr><tr><td>Costs</td><td>Basic Monthly or Yearly recurring fees increases with the number of users. Additional recurring costs get added for additional functionalities that may be required</td><td>Large initial capital is required to start development but saves money in the long run as there are no recurring usage fees</td></tr><tr><td>Complexity</td><td>Systems may sometimes be too complex and require training &amp; support to understand how to use them</td><td>Less chance of the system being complex as it is built specifically as per your needs</td></tr><tr><td>Information Security</td><td>Information is stored securely, but with a third-party</td><td>Information is stored securely with you and no-one else</td></tr><tr><td>Scaling</td><td>Can be scaled with some limitations, but costs can run very high</td><td>Can be scaled to add new features as per your needs without incurring a huge cost</td></tr><tr><td>Integration with other platforms/apps</td><td>Limited integration only as provided by the system providers</td><td>Integration with other apps or modules can be done to enhance the functionality</td></tr><tr><td>Updates</td><td>Regular free updates &amp; bug fixes, as released by the provider</td><td>Updates &amp; bug fixes have to be done by developers, which would incur some costs</td></tr><tr><td>Ownership</td><td>Owned by provider</td><td>Owned by you</td></tr><tr><td>Maintenance</td><td>Handled by the provider</td><td>Has to be handled by you or the developers</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<p></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="conclusion">Conclusion</h2>

<p><strong>You should choose a readymade CRM:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>If you are a small business with basic requirements</li>

<li>If you can’t spend a fair amount of time &amp; money on custom development</li>
</ul>

<p></p>

<p><strong>You should choose a Customized CRM:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>If you know what you want &amp; it’s not available or it costs too much in readymade CRMs</li>

<li>If you are a medium or large-scale business and can afford development time &amp; costs</li>

<p></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is a CRM?</h2>

<p>As its name suggests, a Customer Relationship Management system, or CRM, is a software system that helps organizations track and store customer information to manage them better.</p>

<p>CRM systems enable a firm to handle their customers &amp; their teams to pave the way for better communication and ease of business. A good CRM with proper data management can track customer data, send automated messages, store documents securely, and so much more.</p>

<p>Large-scale and small &amp; medium businesses can use CRM systems to improve their working processes.</p>

<p>Let&#8217;s check out a few reasons why your firm needs a CRM.</p>

<p><strong>Organized &amp; Centralized Customer Information</strong></p>

<p>A CRM system keeps all the information, especially customer information, properly organized, sorted, and secure. All communications, work, and documents related to a customer or client are accessible in a single centralized location with just a few clicks. This starkly contrasts the hassle of searching through files, emails, messages &amp; documents to find the information you need.</p>

<p>Having a centralized &amp; organized data store saves time &amp; effort and improves work productivity in the long run. It also means better security of confidential data, as security measures have to be implemented on a single centralized database. It also helps reduce conflict within the organization regarding client responsibility and results in smoother communication with the client when multiple team members are involved.</p>

<p><strong>Effective Client Communication</strong></p>

<p>Client communication is key in the service industry. CRM solutions offer features such as communication tracking, automated messaging, and access to client information and documents, which make a huge difference in client communication.</p>

<p>Instead of wasting time and energy finding what communication has been going on with the client, a CRM provides you with the whole thing in just a few clicks. Multiple staff across different departments can easily access the client&#8217;s communication history and engage the client accordingly.</p>

<p><strong>Foster Inter-Departmental Cooperation</strong></p>

<p>A good CRM can gather all information, keeping different departments and team members on the same page. Coordinating sales, support, accounting, and docket management is a tricky affair, which can be resolved using a properly built CRM suiting your needs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Lack of internal cooperation is one of the major causes of customer dissatisfaction and loss of business. A CRM is a great solution to overcome this, as it has a common interface, using which everyone can add and access required information in the CRM.</p>

<p>Furthermore, sharing information, goals, and incentives across different teams in your firm improves productivity and efficiency while keeping your data well-organized.</p>

<p><strong>Online Document Management</strong></p>

<p>Data is one of the most valuable assets in any firm and also something they often have problems with – data storage, data management, and access. All this is managed by a CRM system that facilitates the organization and visualization of data.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In addition, your employees will have all the necessary information and more time to focus on important tasks. You save a lot of time and money by eliminating external (and manual) file storage and using CRM to store and retrieve documents securely.</p>

<p>Today, many firms are trying to go paperless, meaning all office documents have been digitized. Even if your law firm isn&#8217;t completely paperless, the ability to instantly access files anywhere greatly impacts your productivity. Especially true if you work remotely (due to Covid). Sharing documents immediately with clients, colleagues, or team members or opening/editing them on the go becomes a breeze.</p>

<p><strong>Appointment and Reminder Capabilities</strong></p>

<p>The best CRM software systems, like&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.aakarsoft.com/crm-law-firms/" rel="noreferrer noopener">Swift CRM for Law Firms</a>, come with Appointment and reminder capabilities to ensure your appointments are correctly booked and you are always ahead in your schedules.</p>

<p>Sending out individual confirmation messages manually can take up much of your valuable time, which a CRM can easily handle while being accurate. Team members/Attorneys/Lawyers can schedule reminders, follow-up messages, payment deadlines &amp; other work-related notifications and book appointments for all attorneys or lawyers at your firm.</p>

<p><strong>One Streamlined Platform</strong></p>

<p>A law firm or any other firm/organization might be using different kinds of software or programs for managing various tasks &amp; processes. However, with a CRM, you get a complete solution under one roof.</p>

<p>CRM systems enable a firm to have a streamlined work process with easily accessible information anytime, anywhere. With a 24×7 availability, CRMs are a great asset for your business.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h2>

<p>CRMs are a good way to manage customers team members, and improve business processes. A suitable CRM system would help your law firm reach new heights. Growing with the changing times and using technology to your advantage is the best way to guarantee a bright future for your business.</p>

<p>Are you planning an E-Commerce website and need help deciding which platform to choose? Shopify or WordPress?</p>

<p>In this post, we are comparing the features, advantages, and disadvantages of both platforms. This post will help you to choose the right platform for your E-commerce store.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery aligncenter has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-9 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="900" height="444" data-id="8867" src="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2022/01/shopify-vs-wordpress-banner.png" alt="" class="wp-image-8867" srcset="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2022/01/shopify-vs-wordpress-banner.png 900w, https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2022/01/shopify-vs-wordpress-banner-300x148.png 300w, https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2022/01/shopify-vs-wordpress-banner-768x379.png 768w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>
</figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Introduction</h3>

<p>Shopify is a dedicated platform for building e-commerce websites. WordPress is a free, open-source platform for building e-commerce, business, and blogging websites.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Web Hosting</h3>

<p>Web hosting is an online service that lets you publish your website files online.</p>

<p>You need no hosting services with Shopify, as it offers web-hosting services with a monthly subscription fee, which starts at $29. With WordPress, you must buy hosting services from a reliable hosting provider like Hostinger or Host Gator.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Security</h3>

<p>Shopify deploys all the safety measures to keep your website secure and safe. Shopify offers a free SSL certificate with a subscription. In WordPress, safety concerns are taken care of by web hosting providers. You may be required to purchase an SSL certificate for your website.</p>

<p>SSL Certificate ensures HTTPS in place of HTTP. HTTPS increases the safety of your website and smoothens the checkout process for your customer.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Coding</h3>

<p>You don&#8217;t need programming or coding skills to set up a Shopify store. But you do need to be tech-savvy. You&#8217;ll need programming and coding skills to set up a WordPress store. Knowledge of UI/UX design would be a plus.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Website Administration</h3>

<p>Website Administration includes managing the E-commerce website&#8217;s products, sales, and orders. Compared to WordPress, website administration is easy on Shopify because of its user-friendly interface. Whereas, website administration on WordPress has a learning curve.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Themes</h3>

<p>Themes are responsible for the color schemes and the appearance of the websites. Both Shopify and WordPress offer free and paid themes.</p>

<p>Free themes from Shopify are good to start with. However, it is recommended to use a paid theme as they have better UI/UX than free themes. The cost of a paid Shopify theme is $100-$200.</p>

<p>Using the Paid theme in WordPress is highly recommended because free e-commerce themes need to be better. Paid themes are extremely professional and generally offer free support for one year. WordPress Paid Themes offer a great level of customization in your E-commerce website. The cost of a paid WordPress theme is $35-$90.</p>

<p>A paid theme has better options and can increase sales by 20%.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Plugin and Apps</h3>

<p>Plugins and Apps are pre-made plug-and-play software programs to extend the functionality of an e-commerce website.</p>

<p>Plugins and applications are the same. Both Shopify and WordPress offer free and paid plugins. In Shopify, apps are plugins, and vice versa in WordPress. To quickly add features like CRM, chatbot, and accounting to an e-commerce website, it is recommended to use Plugins and Apps.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Search Engine Optimization</h3>

<p>Shopify offers limited support for SEO, whereas WordPress provides great control over SEO. WordPress has many free plugins to enhance and analyze the on-page optimization of your website.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Platform Updates &amp; Release</h3>

<p>Shopify updates itself automatically whenever a new version or update is released. You don&#8217;t need any skills to update the Shopify platform.</p>

<p>New version releases and updates can be added automatically in WordPress. Sometimes, an update may break the functionality of an existing website. Thus, before making any update, you have to be careful, and it is advised to take the help of experts before you switch to a newer version of WordPress.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Mobile Apps</h3>

<p>Using these platforms, you can always convert your E-commerce website into a mobile app. Both platforms have plugins and apps that will help you to create a Mobile App. Shopify Mobile app comes with an extra subscription fee, whereas WordPress Mobile app comes with a one-time payment.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Go Live</h3>

<p>Using Shopify, you can even go live within a day if the content of your website is ready. The design and development time of the WordPress website would vary depending on the customization. Typically, developing a complete website in WordPress takes 2-6 weeks.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="comparison-between-shopify-and-wordpress">Comparison Between Shopify and WordPress</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table><tbody><tr><td>&nbsp;</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>SHOPIFY</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>WORDPRESS</strong></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Platform</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Dedicated E-Commerce Platform</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Open-Source</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Hosting</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Free with Shopify Subscription</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Buy</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Security</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Free SSL</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Buy</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Coding Knowledge</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Not Required</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Required</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Website Administration</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Easy</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Moderate</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Free Apps &amp; Plugin</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Available</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Available</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Free Theme</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Available</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Available</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Mobile</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Yes</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Yes</td></tr><tr><td><strong>SEO Support</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Limited</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Complete</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Version Update</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Easy</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Moderate</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Duration to Build</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">1 Week</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">2-6 Weeks</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<p></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="conclusion">Conclusion</h2>

<p><strong>You should go with Shopify:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>If you are a beginner and want to start a new E-Commerce venture.</li>

<li>If you are okay with less customization.</li>
</ul>

<p></p>

<p><strong>You should go with WordPress:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>If you are techy and know how to work with a CMS (Content Management System).</li>

<li>If you want more customization and want to scale your E-Commerce business.</li>
</ul>

<p>Imagine walking into a physical store for your groceries, and all you can see is chaos. Some vegetables are on the floor, there is a foul smell, and everything looks untidy. Will you even make another step inside? As much as there are no smells or vegetables on the floor online, disorganization and ambiguity remain such a turn-off for prospective customers.</p>

<p>So, what are the key features to look out for to ensure your eCommerce site ranks, stands out, and drives traffic? Let’s dive in and look at some of the top features of a stunning website.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Keep It Straightforward and Ensure Smooth Navigation</h2>

<div class="wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow"><div class="wp-block-group__inner-container">
<div class="wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-15 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex">
<div class="wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">
<p>The first glance at your website should clearly outline what your business does. The prospective customers have struggled enough online to navigate through ads and some fluff. You want to make it as easy as possible for them to pick up what your business is about in just a glance.</p>

<p><br>A well-designed e-commerce website maintains the focus of your products by keeping them simple and clear.</p>

<p>No customer wants to look for products in eternity on the website. Using clear menus and categorizing your product pages also makes it easier for your clients to navigate your site. Easier navigation makes it easier for them to navigate through many products, resulting in multiple sales!</p>
</div>

<div class="wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">
<figure class="wp-block-gallery aligncenter has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-12 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="529" height="452" src="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/website-navigation.png" alt="Smooth Navigation" class="wp-image-8637" srcset="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/website-navigation.png 529w, https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/website-navigation-300x256.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 529px) 100vw, 529px" /></figure>
</figure>
</div>
</div>
</div></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Keep Your Site As Mobile-Friendly As Possible</h2>

<div class="wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-19 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex">
<div class="wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow"><div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="556" height="532" src="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/responsive-website.png" alt="Mobile Website" class="wp-image-8639" srcset="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/responsive-website.png 556w, https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/responsive-website-300x287.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 556px) 100vw, 556px" /></figure></div></div>

<div class="wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">
<p>How often have you purchased products online using your laptop or PC? You get the point. Compared to PCs, many people make online purchases using their mobile phones. eCommerce success dictates that you prime your website for mobile viewing and design your website to cater to mobile users.</p>

<p>If your website is primed for mobile viewing and more than half of internet users use mobile phones today, it illustrates that you throw your bait where there is most fish! A responsive site automatically readjusts with the device for a high-quality user experience. Regardless of the device, a responsive web design ensures your site caters to your customers’ mobile-friendly interface.</p>
</div>
</div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"> Eye-Candy Presentation Of The Site</h2>

<div class="wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-22 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex">
<div class="wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">
<p>You may think of ‘never judge a book by its cover,’ but websites are not part of this adage. Sites aren’t books; the first impression is vital for online users visiting your site. Eye-candy presentation entails anything visually appealing on your website. Using high-quality pictures with proper lighting is one of the ways to lure clients into visiting your site. Another way is acquitting yourself with the psychology of colors and using it to your advantage. For instance, bright and inspirational colors lure more visitors than dull colors.</p>

<p>A visually impressive website is a representation of a credible and serious website. Eye-candy websites attract online users and paint a good reputation for your business.</p>
</div>

<div class="wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="591" height="498" src="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/website-design.png" alt="Online Shopping" class="wp-image-8640" srcset="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/website-design.png 591w, https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/website-design-300x253.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 591px) 100vw, 591px" /></figure>
</div>
</div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Create A Safe Haven For Your Customers</h2>

<div class="wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-25 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex">
<div class="wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">

<p>RPA in introducing a new digital workforce in the offices. RPA is used to create software bots that can replicate or mimic humans interaction with applications. RPA bots interact with the applications on the user interface level to automate the business processes. </p>

<p>RPA bots are of 2 types Attended and Unattended. Sometimes, they are also known as Assisted and Unassisted bots. In this post, we are going to discuss Attended and Unattended bots in detail.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Attended Bot</h2>

<p>Attended Bots are ready and waiting for the agents to be activated whenever they are needed. Attended bots works and share the same computer with agents. Attended bots are mainly used in front-office operations where executives are spending a lot of time with customers. </p>

<p>For Example, Call Centre employees rely on a variety of documents to provide the best solutions to their customers. But, gathering all necessary documents, customer history, and product details are always time-consuming. With the help of Attended RPA Bot employees can pull all necessary information within seconds. Attended RPA Bot empowers employees to be well informed and quick to respond to any call. Ultimately this will lead to great customer satisfaction. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="1019" height="939" src="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/Attended-rpa-bot.png" alt="" class="wp-image-8656" srcset="https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/Attended-rpa-bot.png 1019w, https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/Attended-rpa-bot-300x276.png 300w, https://www.aakarsoft.com/storage/2021/11/Attended-rpa-bot-768x708.png 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1019px) 100vw, 1019px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Unattended Bot</h2>

<p>Unattended Bots don&#8217;t require any kind of human intervention to complete a task or process. Unattended Bots can be triggered by an event, rules or it can be scheduled. These Bots run automatically and notify the respective stakeholder. They are used in back-office operations and generally deployed on server machines. </p>

<p>Consider as an example where an accountant has to daily extract information from various documents like invoices, ledger, cheques, and ledgers. After that accountant has to prepare a spreadsheet with details like Invoice Number, Company Name, Amount and send it to Superior by end of the day. The whole process can be automated with the help of an Unattended RPA bot and it will also shoot an email to the Superior at the scheduled time. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Difference Between Attended &amp; Unattended RPA Bots </h3>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table><tbody><tr><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>Attended RPA Bot</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>Unattended RPA Bot</strong></td></tr><tr><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Handles the task of individual Employee</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>WHAT</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Automates back-office operations at scale</td></tr><tr><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Waits for human intervention</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>HOW</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Works without human intervention</td></tr><tr><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Triggered by employees</td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center"><strong>WHEN</strong></td><td class="has-text-align-center" data-align="center">Triggered by an event, rule or can be scheduled</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<p>RPA offers the capability to automate business processes quickly and easily. Both types of Bots use the same underlying technologies but the difference is in infrastructure and in the licensing cost. If you are looking for open-source technologies to save licensing costs, get in touch with us today.</p>

<p>We all know reading and writing in an excel is a very frequent requirement of Robotic process automation. In this post, we will discuss how you can read data from an excel sheet using the Robot framework. We are using PyCharm as an IDE.</p>

<p>To read data from we will include the following Library.</p>

<p><em>Library Selenium</em><br><em>Library ExcelLibrary</em></p>

<p>To add Excel Libray in PyCharm you need to follow the following steps:</p>

<p>File -&gt; Settings -&gt; Project (ProjectName) -&gt;Python Interpreter</p>
